• When is DTX Manchester and where is it located?

  DTX Manchester takes place on 22-23 May 2024 at Manchester Central.

• What makes DTX Manchester the ONE place to be?

  It’s the ONLY enterprise IT event that brings everything together under one roof. All the key players. All the information across the entire technology stack. All the key product launches, demos, solutions and educational seminars.

• I am a member of the press and want to attend the exhibition, how do I register?

  Journalists, analysts and bloggers are all welcome at DTX Manchester and are hosted in the fully equipped press office.

  The press office has computers and printers, telephones, chairs, tables and refreshments and is only available for registered members of the press – once the registration form is completed (remember to click ‘I’m press or media’ on the screening question), your status as Press will be ‘Pending’ until the team have approved it.

• When will I receive my badge?

  Badges and event previews will be sent out from early May 2024. Badges can also be printed using your unique badge code (detailed in your confirmation email) on arrival at the event.

• I’m busy. Why should I take a day out of the office for an IT event?

  It’s a great investment of time, especially for educational seminars. DTX also brings together vendors, the channel and end users alike, it provides the perfect networking opportunity as well as concentrating the expertise of over 100 expert exhibitors. So you can use this one event to get all the insights you need to stay competitive – quickly and efficiently.

• Will this actually help my business?

  Absolutely it will help your business! Everything at our event is dedicated to delivering real commercial advantage. The insights, information and contacts you gain during your visit will quickly become productive assets after you leave.

• How much does it cost?

  It is free of charge to attend. If you want to exhibit there is a cost.

• How do I obtain a visa letter?

  Unfortunately we cannot issue letters of invitation for visa purposes. Once you have registered for the event via the event website you will receive a confirmation email which should be sufficient for visa applications.

• What are the event opening times?

  Wednesday 22 May 2024: 09:30-17:30

  Thursday 23 May 2024: 09:30-16:30

• Can students attend?

  DTX is a business to business event and whilst we welcome students to join us and discuss technology with exhibitors we do restrict entry to after 12pm on Day 2 (Thursday) of the event.  Students will not be granted access on Day 1, or the morning of Day 2.

• Is there an age restriction at the show?

  DTX is a business to business event so event registration and attendance is restricted to over 16s only. No one under the age of 16 will be admitted to the event.

 

Registering

• Can I register for more than one person at a time?

  Due to data protection laws, you cannot register a colleague on their behalf, but you can invite them along to the event!

• I am a member of the press and want to attend the exhibition, how do I register?

  Journalists, analysts and bloggers are all welcome and are hosted in the fully equipped press office.

  The press office has computers and printers, telephones, chairs and tables and refreshments. The press office is only available for registered members of the press.

• Is there a cost for registering?

  It is free to register!

 

Badges

• Will my badge give me access to all the event areas?

  Yes, you will be given full access to all the theatres at DTX and UCX. 

• When will I receive my badge?

  Badges, event previews will be sent out a week from the event. Badges can also be printed using your unique badge code (detailed in your confirmation email) on arrival at the event.

• What happens if I don't receive my badge before the show?

  In the rare circumstances that you don't receive your badge you can use the badge code in your confirmation email to print another one on the day. If you forget your badge code then the registration kiosk can locate your registration details to print your entry badge.

 

At the event

• How can I book a seminar or keynote session?

  The seminar and keynote sessions are FREE to attend and seating is based on a first come first served basis.

• Is there somewhere to leave coats and luggage?

  Yes, there is a cloakroom where you can leave your belongings. It is located in the foyer.
