The #ManchesterSecurityCommunity is a community initiative group established in 2023 to fill the gap in the Cyber & Information Security community/event space. The #MSC’s mission is simple; provide Security professionals in Manchester and the Northwest an opportunity to learn, share, network and connect in a safe space that isn’t sales driven but maintains access to the best local industry professionals.
Stephen Mann, the founder of the #ManchesterSecurityCommunity, started his journey by recruiting Security professionals across the world, but quickly developed a passion for the industry and his local community. After listening to what the community wanted, Stephen decided to utilise his network and relationships to bring something meaningful to the city he calls home and the industry that continues to fascinate him.
The #MSC wouldn’t be what it is without its incredible contributors and attendees, though. Whilst Stephen facilitates and hosts the events, the content and agenda is all designed by the industry leaders that give their time to help foster our community.
