GETTING HERE

Excel London is  accessible by public transport and step-free routes are available:

  • Elizabeth Line: Step-free access from Custom House station (closest entrance to our event)
  • DLR: Both Custom House & Prince Regent stations are step-free
  • Taxi/Drop-off: West entrance drop-off area (postcode: E16 1XL)

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

There are 80 bays suitable for accessible drivers on-site across the car park for £25.00 per day. These are wide bays with minimum dimensions of 5.9m by 3.6m. Access to the building from these bays is along walkways with a gradient of no more than 1:15 and via flat entrance lifts with automatic doors.

ASSISTANCE ANIMALS

We're happy to welcome assistance and support animals at DTX. Should you wish to bring a support animal please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. before the event. Please be aware that welfare facilities for support animals are not available onsite and all owners will be fully responsible for the action of their animal, which will need to be kept under control and on a lead, harness, or in a pet carrier at all times.

ACCESSIBLE TOILETS & CHANGING PLACES

There are 40 accessible toilets located throughout the building for visitors with disabilities. Plus, an accessible changing facility is available at the east of the venue on level 1. Please note the room has a RADAR key operated lock. Click here for more information and a map of accessible toilets with left-hand and right-hand transfer options across the venue.

There are baby changing facilities on level 0 in both the male and female toilets in the boulevard, and the family room can be found by the S9 entrance on the boulevard.

MOBILITY SUPPORT

Excel is a large venue and our central boulevard is 600m long. All public entrances allow for access by wheelchair via low gradient ramps and an automatic door. Once inside the venue, all floors are level, offering unobsructed access. 

Mobility scooters and wheelchairs are free of charge to hire. They are subject to availability, so please use this link to select the dates and aid you need.

QUIET SPACE & PRAYER ROOM
  • If you need a quieter corner during the show, there is a quiet room located in North Gallery Room NG04 on the first floor, which can be accessed from the back of the event hall.
  • The Multi - Faith Prayer room can be accessed through the grey door next to the S9 entrance on the boulevard.
