Innovate for Trust: Yealink’s 25-Year Journey
From responsible technology to real-world impact, Yealink is looking ahead to the next chapter of communication and collaboration.
For 25 years, Yealink has been dedicated to connecting people through unified communications and collaboration technology — creating long-term value for people, communities, and the planet.
As Yealink celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026, the focus is not only on how far technology has come, but also on the kind of impact innovation should create in the future.
This commitment reached a significant milestone in 2026, when Yealink received an EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing the company among the top 5% of businesses assessed globally and the top 2% within the telecommunications industry.
For Yealink, this recognition reflects more than performance metrics. It demonstrates a growing belief that responsible innovation should be embedded into the way technology is designed, developed and delivered.

From Intention to Action
Yealink’s sustainability approach is built around three connected areas: Greener Journey, People in Tech, and Tech for Equity.
Greener Journey
Environmental responsibility starts long before a product reaches a meeting room.
Yealink integrates sustainability considerations across the product lifecycle — from design and material selection to manufacturing and packaging.
By the end of 2025, ENERGY STAR certification had been completed across key product lines, while products including MeetingBar A40 and CTP25 obtained ISO 14067 product carbon footprint verification. Seven product models also achieved Global Recycled Standard certification.
In 2025, clean energy accounted for 21% of Yealink’s electricity consumption, while electricity intensity per unit of revenue decreased by 5.7% year on year.
People in Tech
Technology is ultimately shaped by people.
Through its Learning & Development Centre and dual career pathways in technology and management, Yealink supports employees with long-term opportunities for growth, learning and internal mobility.
As technology evolves, the people behind it should have the opportunity to evolve with it.
Tech for Equity
Yealink believes technology creates its greatest value when it helps more people connect, participate and access opportunities.
This belief is reflected in projects supporting education, hearing assistance, rural development, emergency relief and disadvantaged communities.
One example can be found in the UK.
Bringing the Universe Closer to students
Yealink collaborated with Little Heath School, using a MeetingBar A40 to connect students with special educational needs to a live virtual astronomy lesson.
For students who might otherwise face barriers related to distance, location or physical participation, technology created an opportunity to join the experience in real time alongside their peers.
It was more than a video call.
It demonstrated how communication technology can remove barriers and help people access experiences that might otherwise be out of reach.
Technology does more than connect devices.
It can connect people to opportunities.
From Practice to Proof
Yealink’s journey from EcoVadis Bronze to Gold reflects three years of continued progress in sustainability management and governance.
More importantly, it reflects a belief that sustainability should not exist as a separate initiative, but should be embedded in everyday business decisions and product innovation.
As Yealink enters its next 25 years, the focus remains clear:
Innovate for Trust.
